It's Handled

We may know that quote as an Olivia Pope quote but with the amount of times we hear it, quote it, think about it...do you know it can be a faith bit when you think of the one who really handles it all? Every time in the bible we read "Fear Not" it simply can be translated to "It's Handled".

This week that just went by was one of those weeks where "this faith thing" got really practical. You see, this blog is about making Lemons in my life to Lemonades and that means I am fully aware that storms come and glitches happen. I have come to the point where I have finally accepted I can't do it on my own; I need someone bigger, the real fixer.

If you keep up with my Traveler Wife series you would know a bit about my visa issue. Like I said in that post, this issue had the ability to really mess my plans up and right in the middle of it faith got practical for me. And it's in that period I heard myself saying "Gee, it's handled". Repeatedly I said this, not knowing what the exact outcome would be but just trusting that really "All things work together for my good" - Romans 8:28.

Sometimes we as Christians tend to pick up our faith once we get to church and drop it right after we live. Only in church circles or activities do we remember we have this weapon called faith. I'd be honest, I am still struggling in this area myself. That is why in these "small" victories I rejoice in this weapon I've got; my faith.

So promise me today, that whatever comes your way;
You would fear not
And remind yourself that "IT'S HANDLED".

  1. it really is a battle field of the mind to believe and act like you believe God is better than olivia pope and is truly handling it. Its a struggle but I try everyday.

    1. Thanks hun :) Are we ever not needing the fixer though? Lol! But while we are in this "needing" phase I try to also remember to be thankful for the manifestations of the ones that have already been handled.

  7. Love the picture Gee! I so agree with you about being careful to not leave your faith at church. My husband calls it "checking your religion at the door"... I have been really working at talking to God throughout the day instead of just at the beginning and end. It has helped me tremendously to remember He has it all under control!

    1. I know right! The morning prayer and night prayer while the whole day is left empty. I really need to find a way to carry it through out the day too.
