Waiting:::..

I have to write.
I have to tell someone of the faithfulness of God,
I have to tell someone I understand how waiting on God can be and feel,
I also have to remind you that at the end of the day we always conclude, "It was worth the wait".

While waiting, I have come to understand that it is not only about the waiting itself but the attitude you have even while you wait. While I waited on God, I learned how to do the one thing I thought was the hardest ever- to pray for others. It brought me joy, took away the frustration of looking at the watch and telling God "it is time", it definitely made my wait seem shorter-because I gained something even through the wait.

Are you waiting on God for anything? Don't be idle in that wait. Get busy and be a blessing to others while waiting. Be a means/medium for someone's answered prayers while God works on yours. Believe me it feels way better.

Don't just come out of your wait with what you were waiting for alone, get a bonus too, learn something and grow even through it all.

Someone said, "Don't go throw challenges, grow through them"

Stay blessed
Preserve your Saltiness
Love Gee

  1. "While waiting, I have come to understand that it is not only about the waiting itself but the attitude you have even while you wait. " Couldn't be written any better. I absolutely believe in this, and I pray that everyone who reads this (and who is currently waiting on something) be inspired.

  2. Very well said, don't just wait, do something while waiting, even that would improve your outlook to the wait. Thanks for sharing

  3. Absolutely, our attitude while we wait determines what's in our heart. We should not be selfish about our needs alone, but labour in pain for others too.

May we constamtly fing the strength to wait gracefully...Amen

  14. Blessings.....
Dropped in to say thank you for the visit and to have a splendid weekend.

    p.s.
Amnesia due to bath breath, yeah thats some serious stuff. When you encounter someone with wicked bad breath it makes your eye water, you hands automatically go up as if to defend yourself against the wipelash of stinkness and all thoughts for a moment is fleeting, you get disoriented and even your name is a blurr the only thing that comes to mind is the flight reflex quickly followed by the screaming voice in your head that says RUN, GET AWAY! Trust me, its vey traumatic. lol, lol I can laugh now but at the time it was no laughing matter.
    Take care....

  15. 100% agree with your thinking as our attitude clearly tells what are we thinking and what we have in our heart .....
